What do you border collie owners use for heartworm prevention? Interceptor instead of Heartgard (Ivermectin)? - heartgard seizures
I heard that causes Heartgard (ivermectin) for serious side effects when used in border collies. I Met a former owner, the dog developed seizures due to BC Heartgard. My vet said that the dose is small, do not worry and go with the rest of the pack of Heartgard give my six months Puppy 7 British Columbia. I've heard interceptor may be a better choice for the Border Collie. Can anyone advise me?

It was noted that ivermectin-sensitive Collies, and there are anecdotal reports of ivermectin sensitivity evident in the culture of other nations
(Borders, Shelties and OES), but has not yet decided whether theses races are really sensitive. I wish to make and use. If your dog has already made without incident, then it's probably OK.
